Thank you for this post. It's rewarding for me that someone is willing to post helpfully and the puzzle can come together.. I love red meat by the way. It's a weakness of mine...all the glory of awesome food that is.. Everything in moderation I suppose.Case in point: is methane bad? Or is it a piece of the puzzle?
"Methanogens are obligate anaerobes that cannot grow in the presence of oxygen. They use CO2 as the final electron acceptor and Hydrogen as a source of electrons. The reduction of CO2 produces methane gas as a byproduct of cellular metabolism. Methanogens are abundant in swamps and sludge water. They play an important role in biomass degradation and CO2 consumption." (From the link below.)

Naturally-produced methane accounts for approximately 6.5 times that which is produced by human-related activities. Over 70% of this is produced from our precious and protected wetlands.
Where I am going with this is methane is not inherently bad. But it is a good way of distracting us from what is.

?... the year 2070 . It's amazing what is being predicted for how drastically the landscape will be changed by then based on the facts of today of course. Cold hardiness zones will shift , along with moisture levels. I'm on a serious planting kick for this year with far future in mind. Picking the correct cultivar that will thrive in the future is not an easy task.
Whos Mr. Murphy? I'm gonna have to digest this post , before I think.. I know what the hell it really means. I think I know something quite often only to be left thinking I know nothing more than I did before or the more I know the less I understand. Talk about a conundrum. Am I going backwards with time?Yeah, it's a conundrum all righty.
Here is an excerpt of Mr. Murphy's take on it:
"...it is the nature of this subject that substantive answers are never possible nor welcome. When dealing with the “airy subtleties” of the new Faith, we must settle for ignorance, ...for the idea that the vastly imperfect governments of this world, who between them cannot guarantee anything six months out, can speak with serene confidence on the Whole Atmosphere of our Great Dynamic Planet nearly 100 years from now"
No, you're going forward. All of these people are full of it. No one knows!!!Whos Mr. Murphy? I'm gonna have to digest this post , before I think.. I know what the hell it really means. ...I do like going the devils advocate to see what stirs from the bottom of the pot...
Great little write up.interesting viewpoint, (if you don't mind seeing scads of polysyllabic words you've probably never encountered before):

I love this post, Your contributions to this thread have been the driving force of how I hoped it would go. I watched a good portion of the video, then daddy duty interrupted. I'm going to hopefully get a chance to finish it today.A novel thought, to work with the world, instead of against it.
Man vs earth is about changing what and how we do things.
