Making the switch.....HAAS?

Thanks guys. I have ordered the Velox kit with the Ct ascender and the chest harness. SAKA looks nice but I got impatient looking for a kit with everything I needed. I found a ropewalker kit with HAAS Velox for $200. I think that's a pretty decent price considering most retailers online are selling Velox by itself for $179. Now, any suggestions on rope? I was thinking about trying the Xstatic or drenaLINE from teufelberger. Thoughts and opinions? My main goal is to become the fastest most efficient climber I can possibly be, without compromising safety of course. I've already got a pretty good handle on SRS. Just want to fine tune to be the best I can.
So I’ve seen these new ropes on their website and I see TS now sells the xstatic rope but I haven’t seen the drenaline for sale anywhere yet unless it’s just not out yet.
I’ve also been on Yale 11.7 for a few years now even after trying other ropes but that’s all changed now that I’ve been using Samson voyager I just really like it on my rope wrench and my hitch hiker.

As far as Haas vs saka- I still use the original Haas and it works fine despite its limited range but I plan on getting the velox soon for reasons mentioned in an earlier post. I had the saka when it first came out and had problems with the ascender that was used. I was told that it must be my climbing style and not the saka. Fast forward to today and the ascender has been re-designed so I’m sure that issue no longer exists. Either way the saka puts a strong pull on ur foot which I’m sure u get used to I just didn’t like it.

I like the Saka for pruning. It is a little slower than a hand ascender with the foot loop, but faster changeover from ascent to work positioning. I don't use it when I am on spikes because it puts my feet closer together.

I just switched to a haas velox, got it yesterday. My saka is breaking and I don't know if the saka is the reason but since I got some arbpro quickstep boots in February I have tore the loop out on two pairs. I feel like this is ridiculous and I will be causing a scene at their booth on Friday in Columbus.

But the Saka definitely does pull your feet together which makes it difficult to ascend while wearing spurs.

Mine straight up broke off while I was ascending, I had been monitoring it on my second pair. Honey bros hasn't replied to me yet with what the manufacturer has to say about the first pair that I sent back and they replaced, which was super cool. I just want to know if there is a life expectancy for these things, four months is a little short lived for a pair of boots.

I was thinking of trying a pair of the quickstep boots and you guys have convinced me that I should not bother. I am really hard on gear. I will stick with my SAKA's with stirrups that I get from On Rope. The On Rope stirrups are a bit heavier than than the stirrup that Richard sells with his SAKA's, but they are bombproof and have an arch support, which is pretty comfortable on long ascents.

Are the Arbpro boots good if I am not counting on the loop? I have a 1st generation pair that I like, but they are at the end of their useful life...would buy them again if I could, but looking for what is next.

I wear the cervino chainsaw quickstep boots. I am pretty sure no one in the states sells them. But they aren't bad boots. They are bulkier than your regular arbpro boots.
