I like the 18 speed. My Mec has an 8LL which is nice for low speed maneuvering, but my G truck's 18 is all around better I think.

I have not had a problem getting sterling parts...nor are they crazey expensive..so much of sterling/ford/international/ freightliner is the same stuff still in use anyway...maybe a new hood would be impossible to come by in 5 years; but you wouldn't want to buy 1 now anyway! Piece that thing back together.

Only has about 7k hours on the engine. Within 10% on the dyno testing.

Are you going by an hour meter; or what the ecm says? I have 47k miles on my c9 and 10,398 hours on it. Hour meters turn back to 0 after 999.9. That many miles in 7k engine hours? That's hard to believe. Divide miles by hours...seem believable?

So everybody knows how awesome TreeVB is. He took his personal time and a mechanic buddy went out and spent a couple hours looking over and test driving the cab and Chassis for my build. He wouldn't let me send him money, buy his dinner or anything. What an awesome guy. That's why I love the buzz. Everybody just want to help!!
