MA Socialists to raise gas tax

Why do we DESERVE to be punished for our new governors foolish spending? he inherited the State from Mitt Romney with a million dollar surplus. we are now $4Billion in debt, and wants top raise taxes. he bought a new cadillac, entire office (including $27,000! for DRAPES!), and hired a $125k/year assistant for his wofe who doesnt work for the state in any capacity......so why should we the taxpayers be punished?

That he had NOTHING to do with the overruns, and pushed everyday he was in office for the heads of the Turnpike authority, the one who WERE responsible! Proving your a DOPE when it comes to MA. Should have quit while ahead. Mitt Romney was a Governor and never cleared ANY contractor of werong doing. He actaully said the owners and general foreman should go to jail because of her. he also MADE Matt amarello, the head of the turnpike authority step down. He was one of the biggest reasons this all happened. He is now millions in debt and getting divorced.

Did you know Tim Mcveigh also spouted off about the same issues you do? Same rhetoric, same volume, same side of the political spectrum.

Which governor appointed Matt Amarello anyway? I recall Bush saying something about someone going to jail when investigators find out who leaked Valerie Plame's identity - same party same mindset as Mitt. Talk tough, pick-up toilet paper squares instead.

Matt Amarello wasnt appointed by ANY Governor! The turnPike authority elected him. MA politics 101, the MTPA is a sep[erate POWERFUL entity that all facets of MA Governement want to see dissolved. The Big Dig was their project, not the state of MA!
