Found this tree today in portland OR, tree looks just like a fig- grey smooth bark, opposite arrangement, fruit hanging down, but it definitely does not appear to be fig.
No milky white sap, and up close the fruit is different.
Here are some photos of the fruit, don't have pictures of tree because we already chipped it. I thought I'd be able to find something online or w the tree id app,but no luck.
Anyone have the slightest idea?
