We have invested a lot of time into our website, social media and Google and have took it as far as we can and now looking for recommendations on companies that help with this. Thank you in advanced for recommendations.

I’m amazed that I’ve gotten any calls from my startup website, and I’m in the process of getting some help to improve it thru the small business development center.

If you don’t mind sharing, what kind of budgets does everyone have for their website upkeep/development?
Also, how many of you use google ads/sponsored results?

We used to spend about $6-8k a year on website upkeep and development. Currently, we are using Google ads, but with not great results. I’ve never seen real great results from them, they tend to be a bit expensive in my experience. We use a direct mail service that is expensive but delivers great results, and we are trying another marketing company right now.

This is who we used.

I met them at TCIA. Every other marketing company there wouldn’t even talk to me when they found out that we weren’t grossing over a million. They would lead the conversation with “what is your gross revenue” and then bluntly say they wouldn’t work with companies our size. Everyone at Arborkmark were super friendly and helpful and built a very functional web page for us. We now just pay them a monthly service fee to keep things running smooth and make changes to the page as needed.

www.alifewithtrees.com is our page.

Side note: @Neill how is your truck signage/ mobile billboard for your desired market?

Side note:
It seems the age that @Lumberjack saw coming...QR codes on marketing materials.

Truck signage is good I think. I’ve seen multiple people stop and photo the truck. It helps that it’s an unusually clean square body truck for my location. Most of the older trucks around here are rusting away at the junk yard, so my truck stands out
