Looking for the ideal rope.

Yes and there is so much that they say on paper that is not what you get. For example if you had one of those diameter gauge things, you'd find almost Everytime that you don't get that exact diameter.
Sometimes the rope needs to be milked and other times it doesn't so when you shop for rope you literally need to just try it out if it's something you never had before and most the time you have to milk soome cover off.

Calamine, Blue Moon, Poison Ivy, Poison Hi-Vee, Tropical Ivy, Aztek, Prism, Arrow Frog, Blue Tongue, Focus, and who knows how many others, are the same rope with different colored covers.

That’s almost true, except that calamine and I think one other (maybe blue tongue?) but I may be wrong have a nylon core making them slightly stretchier. All others are identical with 100% polyester construction

That’s the case now, but there definitely was all polyester calamine, and RW Rope might still have a little.
