I'm the founder of a new (jan 2017) worker cooperative tree service in Pittsburgh, Pa. I do contract climbing on the side to fill in gaps in my schedule. I have much more subcontract work than I can keep up with. I'm offering $280 a day for up to 8 hours. Must have own gear, liability insurance, and transportation. Yea right! Around here contract guys turn $400 a day. Sounds like a loosing proposition to work for $280. Take taxes and expenses out, and you might as well work for someone else and get less punishing work.

Haven't had time to check back. Price is negotiable. At this point honestly I'd be willing to just pass along some customers to a climber in need and hopefully be able to use them on my jobs here and there when two climbers would be helpful.
