Looking for a well designed flatbed dump

Location
Athens
About to build a dump truck to haul logs and chunks of wood with. Old dump is just a 16' flatbed dump with white oak boards attached to channel iron that slides in the pockets on the bed. The heavy chunks can be rough on the bed. Any recommendations on a heavier duty dump body?

Truck is 33k gvw
DT 466E
Eaton 6 speed tranny

Thanks in advance

I'm assuming it's a rack Body/ stake body. Assuming it's in good shape why don't you weld up any pockets or loose parts of body to re enforce what you already have. Wood floors are excellent they take the abuse of logs and chunks better then metal and are easily replaceable just keep them out of the weather or atleast elevated to keep the elments off. Most new forestry body's are being made lighter to hold more chips and to be used on lighter gvw vehicles. I've bought several forestry bodies over the years and they seem to get less heavy duty. You can put a grain or landscape body on it and have tops fabricated to fit.
