Anyone know the price on one of these bad boys?

They were at TCIA last year, the truck they had there was $180k. I think the loader/box made up around half of that. The salesmen pushed it for being used to dump chips, you can see in the pics where he's unloading the log with the loader. The boxes hinge pins weren't oversized like you would figure they would need to be.

It's funny, the "medium duty" is on a Class 8 chassis same as the "heavy duty."

IMO, it's a cool idea, but the company is a bit lacking.

Anyone have one of these log loader trucks? These look like they would be awesome.

JMac Trucks

This loader could load both the truck and a trailer. And it can dump. More versatile than other loaders. I'd love to have one of these...

The loader mounted on the dump bed and at the rear......BAD CONCEPT!

Hello, I am the inventor/ manufacturer of the Jmac System. This is a proven design about to be available from a large logging equipment company. Reply or call 860-883-3118 with any questions

Yeah, we bought it as a log truck for pulling wood from the street, but crane stuff sometimes too. Arbor X came up and checked it out before he made his purchase. I think that I gave him the idea of the Kinshoffer grapel then.

It's a 27 ton/meter with 68' vertical reach (4000#) and 56' horizontal (2000#). It's a really good truck.

Here's a shot.
This is basically the exact truck I'm starting to spec out. Love the idea of my "crane" being my "log truck" too. This is an older thread so I'd love to hear your thought on that truck now.. are you still running it or a similar kboom dump combo? Did you find the boom large enough to be useful for dismantling average trees? Id still sub a large stick boom for big trees but I'd like to think with a truck like this I could dominate mid-sized/ small removals. Did you run a grapple saw? Honestly id like to use it in tandem with our bucket truck. grab high cut low, take larger pieces, reduce shock load? Maybe just a grapple, no saw? Thanks for any and all feed back.
