Loc Jac Sport?

Has anyone or is anyone using a loc jac? I finally saw one first hand today. I knew about it for some time and seen the pictures but have been too sceptical to spend the money on one. I was just wondering what it is like in the tree. I saw the loc jac sport at American Arborist for $396 and wow.Sherrill has the same one for only $239. This is another topic. Why do our local supply companies like to rip us off. I grabbed a few things the other week not looking at the price to only find out later that I paid $37 for eye and eye split tail.

yea I have and use one for quite some time now. If I were to go back to a rope system I would without question go back to the french prusik. But other wise it is the best system for me.
