Very nicely done …… both the video & the task !
The initial balancing on the cart, so you could wheel it out, was very impressive.

Reminded me a little, of me 30+ years ago, moving a 300 lb wood burning stove up a flight of stairs & into the house, by myself. ;-)

(Not the smartest thing I ever did. At least you were well rigged.)

Genius, pure genius. White guys know how to work hard.Way to go man.

Unless there was a specific reason for keeping the log whole?

I'd have fired up that 395 and made mince meat of that log and loaded it by hand in 15 minutes flat....all by myself.

good for you Jomoco. Your Mom must be so proud of you. Ill bet you can beat me at arm wrestling too. I dont even care.
Ill be happy to train my crew to spend the time to work smarter not only in the tree but on the ground. When I was 23, I would havce loaded it in 4 175 pound peices. Not sure anyone in my weight range could ever come close to the things I have done as a groundman. But that was then, this is now.

I trimmed 67 tall palms in one day in 1998. I have nothing to prove.

My favorite part came at the very end, when you slammed the door on your rigging line trying to scissor that line in two!

The whole vid was quite comical, thanks for posting it Jesse.

Those old lines? Heck I just wear those when I dont care what I look like. There is no scissor action at the gate. Its quite a gap. The plastic bedliner expands and contract in the summer so I had to leave plent of room when I built it. Your argument is invalid. Try again
