Living in Denver area questions

I grew up in Denver. hardly any of my friends growing up can afford to live there anymore. been back a few times but the place seems almost unlivable to me now. the 900 square square foot house I grew up in recently sold for 450,000. from what I've heard its a traffic jam to the mountains now if you want to get out. legal weed though if you have any money left over after you pay your bills.

I think I saw that Swingle is now owned by a big outfit from the East, could be wrong.

Anyway, on a serious note this does not seem like a great retirement location for reasons stated. Unless you have loads of cash it might be a squeeze.

My brother wirked there for a while to.

Heard the same about traffic and cost of living. Heading outside Denver may he the way to go.

Yes...I worked for Swingle for a while. They were bought by...not sure...Davey...Sav A Tree???

My plan is to find s place on the edges Nothing fancy

Traveling in the camper is #1 focus

greeley is still a bit of a cow town. fort Collins has still got some character but getting californicated pretty quick. pueblo has always been one of my favorite cities in Colorado. but then again, I got out of Denver and moved to Detroit... had to replace one of the many michiganders flocking to CO.
