Banjo, the lady wanted the lead taken back to the trunk, I figure it would be best just to lighten up the ends and cable it, but we ended up settling on leaving the stubs. Ouch, I know, but after all it is just a tree.

I try to explain they should be reduced at a minimum 25% to buffer if the tree fails or to catch other limbs that may fail from on high
Good on ya for winning that much! Most tree cos wood of sacrificed the whole tree with a larger portal for decay.
