Liberalism ruins everything it touches.

More utter bullshit. Over 20 states are locked, loaded and ready to essentially end a woman's right to choose the moment this ruling comes down...
Which means roughly 30 states aren’t. This ruling simply sends the decision to the states. What’s wrong with that? Let the voters from each state decide what’s best for them. Rest easy, abortionists are safe in Cali. But why should residents of Alabama or Texas be forced to abide by Cali values?

More democracy is good, right? Ironic that the pro-choice crowd is scared to death of states actually choosing.

Because choice should be a federally protected RIGHT. Simple as that.

are you fucken shitting me? A woman’s right to her own body is a ‘value’?

They have a right to not spread their legs. If they choose to do that and get pregnant, then no they don't have the right to destroy another human life. There are tons of other options if they don't want to raise a kid.
Plus they have the right to travel to another state or country to get it done...unless covid is on the attack.

And before you say rape. Abortions due to rape is a slim percentage of the total abortions.

You all didn't want to respect my body during covid, and that didn't effect an innocent young life that had no voice or say.

"My body, my choice" only applies to vaccinations not reproductive rights, silly. Can't you understand simple conservative logic?

Abortion rates are higher amongst people of color compared to whites, so I find it interesting that white evangelicals support measures that hasten whites becoming the minority. The U.S. is projected to be less than half white in 2045.

Ah, thank you for reminding me of the futility of this ‘discussion’.
Yep two sides of the coin both only seeing their side, and not willing to see where they meet in the center. The difference is I don't care how you want to live your personal life, thoughts or values, but you all want to change mine. I'm OK with you being the other side of the coin...let me be the other side to you.

why don't I have say...just because I don't carry it for 9 months.
Yes, that is exactly why you don't have a say. That and the fact that you weren't raped by your uncle....and aren't condemned by society for "opening your legs." I hope men really can have babies; then, they might show an ounce of compassion for, and an understanding of, the average woman's plight.

What's the first thing that men think of when their significant other gets pregnant at an inconvenient stage in their relationship/life? Can we get rid of it? Men are hypocrites on many topics, but none as much as controlling a woman's right to an abortion.

Wha....????

Are you showing how stoopid you are? What the heck do you mean by this?
According to those on the left, a biological woman who identifies as a man can get pregnant, hence his comment. I have yet to see someone on the left be able to define what a "woman" is when discussing the transgender issue, but now all of a sudden when abortion is being discussed it only pertains to women (which is very easily defined as individuals with XX chromosomes).

Unless a woman was raped (less than 1% of abortion cases), a woman made a decision to have sex. Consent to sex is making a choice, so the woman has already made her choice and should accept the natural consequence of sex, which is potentially pregnancy. That's how biology works (just like a man has XY chromosomes and a woman has XX chromosomes) whether you like it or not.

Why should the circumstances surrounding a child's conception justify murdering them? We don't apply that standard to people outside the womb, so why should we before they are born? It all comes back to whether you think it is okay to kill innocent humans. I don't believe it is ever okay, but apparently some of you do. And as far as an individual's rights why isn't a person who just happens to be inside another person worthy of human rights? Location is a very arbitrary, superficial justification for murder.

I don't believe it is ever okay...

A few scenarios to ponder over coffee this morning...

I'm not pro-murdering babies.
I'm pro-Becky who found out at her 20 week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life sustaining organs.
I'm pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later.
I'm pro-Theresa who hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption, causing her parents, spouse, and children to have to make the impossible decision on whether to save her or her unborn child.
I'm pro-little Cathy who had her innocence ripped away from her by someone she should have been able to trust and her 11 year old body isn't mature enough to bear the consequence of that betrayal.
I'm pro-Melissa who's working two jobs just to make ends meet and has to choose between bringing another child into poverty or feeding the children she already has because her spouse walked out on her.
I'm pro-Brittany who realizes that she is in no way financially, emotionally, or physically able to raise a child.
I'm pro-Emily who went through IVF, ending up with SIX viable implanted eggs requiring selective reduction in order to ensure the safety of her and a SAFE amount of fetuses.
I'm pro-Christina who doesn't want to be a mother, but birth control methods sometimes fail.
I'm pro-Jessica who is FINALLY getting the strength to get away from her physically abusive spouse only to find out that she is carrying the monster's child.
I'm pro-Vanessa who went into her confirmation appointment after YEARS of trying to conceive only to hear silence where there should be a heartbeat.
I'm pro-Lindsay who lost her virginity in her sophomore year with a broken condom and now has to choose whether to be a teenage mom or just a teenager.
I'm pro-Courtney who just found out she's already 13 weeks along, but the egg never made it out of her fallopian tube so either she terminates the pregnancy or risks dying from internal bleeding.
You can argue and say that I'm pro-choice all you want, but the truth is:
I'm pro-life.
Their lives.
Women's lives.
You don't get to pick and choose which scenarios should be accepted.
AND NONE OF THIS IS ANY POLITICIAN’S BUSINESS. IT IS BETWEEN THE WOMAN AND MAYBE HER FAMILY AND HER DOCTOR, FULL STOP.

Women's rights are meant to protect ALL women, regardless of their situation!

What about a woman in the womb?
