Lewis tree?

Retired from Lewis tree three years ago. It was a union company and had good benefits compared to the other tree companys I worked at. Lots of travel and storm work. I liked working for them.
 
I have many lewis crews working for me on the North East Utilities system and they seem to be the best large utility company that i have come across. All the guys i talk to say they love it (even the groundies). very safety oriented and really seem to care about their guys. They are part of union 42 i believe. They also offer top rates to their foremen

Well, I took the job they were offering. Better bennies and more pay. they sound like a good outfit to work for. thanks for the opinions guys.
 
Anyone climb for lewis? How do you like it? from what i hear, the money is right, and where i am no private business can match them.... don't really wanna line trim, but i gotta do what i gotta do.
 
We had some hard workers at Lucas, but the company didn't treat us very well. I ran 5 crews(10 to 12 guys depending on turnover) for 13.50/hr. :/ I do MUCH better at Lewis, and It's less hassle only having to worry about me and my groundie.
