This is my new pinto rig with tenex eye and eye spliced right to it

Monkey Tail...a little short but it was my first time splicing 10mm ocean polyester

Not all that hard man...just have to learn double braid and its the same process

Yea it says two picks and I swear that's how many I did. I will look at it closer.

It looks like the bottom splice on the pinto rig is not a locked brummel, make sure you got a deep enough bury and overlap.

Yea I know the bottom isn't a true locking brummel but once one side is done how you going to fit the whole pulley through the tenex? If you look closely in the picture here...one of them is not a locked brummel for this reason.

I can always redo it. I might actually with the above concerns.

One is a locking brummel, the other is a 'red book' brummel.
There is a little discrepancy in the circled area. Can't tell what's goin on with the pic.

Yea good eye norm I will check it out...could I just do a straight bury?

Yes, if it's done according to manufacturer's recommendations. I've been doin strate buries on eye & eye's for 3 or 4 years now. Had em tensile tested. Breakin above specs.
