Looks like you're having fun.
Too bad I missed it, but I think the family needed me to have this week off more than I did. :)
They'll be other storms.
Ha ha yeah after my week on holidays I feel like I need another after last week! 4 16 hour days left my tank on empty ! Oh well that's the way we roll for storm work!

Be careful , fatigue will bite you on the ass and wipe out all your profits ! That is one thing I really try not to do, run my crew into the ground, injuries cost a lot

Yeah I wasn't working my guys that long, it was me sizing up all the jobs, organizing cranes and equipment and such. I don't wanna burn anyone out. All my guys had some good rest during transit to jobs, cranes setting up etc... Almost all of our insurance jobs are get trees off houses or cars, cut up and leave and off to the next job more less, most claims don't cover cleanup so we are able to move fast, effective and efficient. Since I'm the boss I gotta keep the show rolling ! Lol

Call me crazy but I always at least chip the brush, tell the insurance co its the only way due to limited space. Cannt ever feel good about leaving the HO fooked

We do if it's in the way and have time, i usually send a crew back around a week later to do it as most home owners don't wanna pile of brush left on their lawns. When dealing with 20-30 claims at a time the insurance company just wants whatever's on the Houses and cars off ASAP and get to the next one. On another note Paul the 2 full sets of ropetek helmet systems have worked flawlessly ever since I got the first set off ya in Charlotte ! Everyone always asks me who I'm talking to! They don't know we are all talking to each other or if I'm talking to someone on the phone. Without the helmet comm's the jobs would take so much longer !

IMO its not about the speed of the job so much as the increased safety and also the improved moral of the crew as you can all joke on each other through the day. Yet another item that if it was stolen I would buy again tomorrow without a second thought

You got it! It's fun talking to each other each day thru out the job and the safety factor with having the helmet comm's is unmatched ! They really should be mandatory ! We owe it all to you brother for bringing them to our industry !
