The world’s largest aerial work platform, the 104 metre Bronto HLA104 truck mounted lift will make its first appearance at Platformers Days in Hohenroda, Germany this weekend
The stand has been booked by Janneniska, the Finnish based aerial llft rental company in order to court international business for this and other large platforms in its fleet.
Bronto Skylift HLA 104
The new model, which was announced in May 2008, is based on Bronto’s HLA101 with a similar overall length of just under 17 metres. The extra height comes from marginally extending each of the five sections of the lower boom and redesigning the jib with a bend in it to compensate for the slightly longer stowed boom.
The machine retain the 2.55 metres overall width of the 101 and is close to the 101’s total weight of 62 tonnes. Outreach is unaffected at 28 metres, although this will now be available at a greater height – closer to 64 metres.
