Large helmet options

I hired a new employee who is a rather large dude. He also has dreads and we are having a hell of a time finding a climbing style hard hat that will fit his head. Any large headed folks out there with or without dreads that have some helpful input?

What's his head size? My Petzl Vertex Vent goes slightly larger than many helmets (to 63 cm), which is more than adequate for my oversized head (61 cm.)

The Grivel Salamander XL goes to 66 cm, but I think it's discontinued. Very few helmets go above 63-63.5 cm.

I guess since this guy is a "rather large dude," forcibly cutting his dreads so he'll fit a regular helmet is probably not a good option.

Yeah, Im actually an even larger dude but I don't think forcibly cutting dreads is a good option in general. After reading into this a bit, it seems tying the dreads a little lower might help this situation.

I have a large head and I have always worn a kask super plasma with no issues. I know that they also make a extension clip for the Protos now as well for people with larger heads.
