Lanyard stowage

[ QUOTE ]
The added 6' is not much more to carry and it allows a longer usage range before having to M or double crotch. Just right for me.

Yeah, that is the advantage of using the Trango Cinch. It is an added bonus to switch the lanyard as a SRT double crotch. I use it that way all the time.

I notice you use Blaze in the Cinch. How do you like that?

I find that the pouch gets hung up a lot less than a coiled or daisy chained lanyard, although this is probably one of those things that would vary from climber to climber. I also think that lanyard deployment and stowage is way faster and easier with the pouch.

30 feet of yales phoenix- triple fishermans on a thimble with a aluminum locking rope snap "the thin ones sherrill doesnt stock anymore" 12 feet from clip to d ring to a locking twist clevis and a aluminum gibbs with the pin removed and replaced with a bolt and locknut the rest gets girthitched to an accesery loop and then dasiychained i call it buckstrap

lets remember that our climbing lines and lanyards should be different colors not only because it looks cool but so there is no cunfusion with which line is keeping you alive

got my 10mm beeline lanyard in today, cant wait to use it tomorrow, got a nice 15ft of it, probably going with a daisy chain on this one like TL shows, the bag is getting in the way now

i daisy chain about 25' and it works perfect, i never have a problem with the daisy catching every once in a while the loop does but you can't prevent that all the time.

Does anyone use steel core lanyards anymore? What about on removals, etc? I see the lightweight and storage benefits of using a rope but I guess I'm a little hesitant.
