komet spikes

Hey, WesSpur is selling Komet spikes. Has anyone tried them? How do they compare to Geckos?

They look to me like almost the same thing as Geckos.

I thought the same thing when I saw them in the catalog. Look just like the geckos they say they have a longer pad available for them but they money is more than a set of geckos.
