than you need to be profesional and tell them that its structurly not healthy and that it will have water sprouts that only grow out of the cambiam  and if its 30 or 40  feet in the air it will be difficult to get up their with a paer of loppers that they just bought as sears or home depote to maintain it ,so just take it down and tell them to invest in some new nursery trees. that will be something that there new loppers will be able to take care of
