Justifying crane use

you could have taken that in two lifts, with two slings each at the C of G. that way you put less stress on everything and if your crane operator has any skill the pic won't fly anywhere.

very true with the spider leg setup pieces can be tied and cut with great precision if a piece swings at all in my opinion either me or the operator did something wrong. For instance when taking wood i would tie the rope so one not was on one side and then tie another with the not totally opposite. You can leave one alittle looser then the other to make it sit away alittle. I had one operator rip the piece off before i was done cutting scared the sh$t out of me i mean dam the piece splintered at the cut he ripped so much, but then when the very next cut did the same thing i hit the ground we needed to talk
