Frans, you are a piece of work. You have the ability to build this creative gear but don't even ask what it's rated for? You are too funny.
Are you bringing it to Columbus?

Thank you, thank you, no applause needed!
Mark, here is my theory on rigging equipment, ropes, hardware;
I rig small! I understand that the ropes and hardware we use today often mean that the weak point in the system is the tree itself.
With the Jr. GRCS the rope that will accept the 'jaws' is 1/2". That limits me to a double braid 1/2" rope. So, I rig according to what my experiance tells me is safe and sane for that size rope.
Want some numbers? Well here ya go
Dont exceed 800 lbs. net TOTAL! Shock loading included and all the rest included.
No I will not be bringing the device to TCIA. (Greg does not want that one shown as a 'product' as it is just one I whipped up).
Hope this helps. Usually folks want to 'max' out whatever they are working with, I would urge caution using the smaller Harken winches. The attachment strap has a SWL of around 3 thousand lbs, sooo take into account shock loading, that brings it down to around a thousand lbs working load limit, cut a bit more off for safety and there ya go! 800 lbs. (+/-)
Might not be technical but that kind of thinking works for me and has for many years

I'll leave the numbers game to you all 'brainiacs'
