Any of the guys care to run this past their wife or girlfriend?

I've asked some women if there was any truth to the line that "Chicks dig scars" The general response was that there was an attraction. Not necessarily because the scars were sexy looking. More along the lines of the story of the accident. Also, they said that scars typically showed that the guy was active. Kind of like getting battle ribbons to wear.

There's more to this story that we can talk about over a beer in Nashville :)

Females tend to be attracted to males that have a slightly dangerous lifestyle or hobby. Like superbikes, climbing, skydiving, or whatever.

Males that do these activities are more likely to do things to protect her and her family and won't be a coward in situations.

Now, scars and injuries from stupidity is another thing. Which reminds me of something I saw recently.

Tree guys bragging about scars and injuries is stupid to me. It just shows (usually) that you were stupid and made a mistake. Why be proud of that?

I was with a large group of tree workers a few weeks ago, like 40 people. The majority of them were pretty rough and showed very low IQ levels when they talked. (No wonder my customers are always commenting on how proffessional my crew looks and acts) Anyway, one young guy (20's to 30) was walking with a very bad hobble and it was apparent he had some spinal injuries and maybe broken his pevis in the past or something major. And you know what that idiots shirt said? "No scrapes, No Scars, NO PROOF". and the NO PROOF written in blood. I thought, okay buddy, your cool. Yeah, you get hurt cause you're not aware with what's really going on, that's something to brag about. Of course, I don't know the real story, but that's what his "type" looked like and I've seen known plenty like that.

Sometimes the most distinctive charachter to a fine leather item; are the weathered scars, and folds in the hide from the trail.

As the feline/flower thing would be to stay smooth, flowing, colored and scented; it would seem the contrasting/complimenting texture would be rugged, square, plainly distinctive, working sweat some etc. From walking the trail, not just calling out along it. And that does lend some sense of 'road worthiness'/ stripes, for events outside the domain of the nest she rules...

Or something like that..
