I have not worn underwear since I was 15. Commando right thru.

Funny story: I had a sub who went commando all the time and one day I had him on a job and the seat of his pants blew out and everything fell out as my female customer was watching from below. Frank and beans a-la full moon surprise.

I’m in the sans-underwear group since 17 years ago, I couldn’t afford to keep up with my undies for a while and it just grew on me. I’m gonna put in a good word for pact, as my wife and kid have a few different pact garments- I think my kids PJs are pact- and they’re comfy and well made. I’m also a fan of Bombas and Wigwam socks. Both companies have dozens of options, but I like different thickness wool socks most of the time and medium duty compression socks for spur climbing. The Bombas compression socks are 70% cotton, so they’re amazing in hot summer weather, but they’re toast after a summer of hard use. The wigwams are the best value, as they’re all nearly bulletproof. They make soooo many options for work socks, and they have a good warranty.

No undearwear but PJ's lol man that's high class living! I'm now interested in this pact stuff, I'm going to check around for some products. I was sleeping in compression socks for awhile, not bad and also just wearing after work was nice but mine wore out.

If I could only have one pair of undies I would wash them frequently. Boxer briefs for me. As for socks, I took the recommendations of some of you guys and got a few different pairs of Darn Tough socks and they've been great. My favorite is the Hike Trek 1981 Merino Wool sock. They are the best socks I've ever had. Comfortable, warm but not hot, don't smell even after 3 days in a row. You can't beat good wool socks. I'll probably look into some of these underwear recommendations because I've honestly never considered options, other than the general form of boxer briefs.

agreed on the daily wash and the darn toughs as well, great socks. I wear wool socks all year now and wouldn't change it for the world.

I have a couple pair of Darn Tough. They fit just a tiny bit too snug and a little thicker. Maybe a little more "stiff" than the others I posted above. I do like that they are made in US and have a lifetime warranty though.

They say don't put merino wool socks in the dryer. I have for years and they have done just fine. Haven't noticed any shrinkage. Wash all my cloths in cold water and dry on the lowest heat setting so I think that helps.

Tempted to go look for some Merino wool underwear, but that sounds like a lot of money i don't need to spend. The cotton with a little spandex are pretty good. More spandex-y are too hot/sweaty.

My brother-in-law has been sleeping in compression socks per Dr. order since he had heart surgery (healthy guy...they just found a valve defect that could have blown at any time so they fixed it at age 55).

As an islander and water boy. Underwears were never going to cut it. 41 years later I would feel weird with underwear. My son Sam maybe tried them for a year.....he is 12. Those things would never be seen in his closet.

When I wear undies its my wifes chonies.
When my son was a bit more than a toddler we were in town, mid summer on the side walk of the tourist town on the island. He dropped my hand, and I though he went up to chase a bunny, instead he dropped his pants to his ankles (no undies) and pissed all over the real estate brokers frontage lawn. I was quite proud!

Tight fitting, moisture wicking Polyester boxer briefs is all I wear- not too brand picky. Otherwise my inner thighs get a chafing rash when I sweat. I’m not obese except for an ice cream/dad belly.

I’ll do commando with swimming trunks only !!

Haynes boxer briefs. They're cheap and having a large quantity is nice.
