I took my last final exam today, so I am officaly done with college. After 4 1/2 years I am graduating from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in Urban Forestry. Point has been very good to me, and I am going to miss it very much.

This summer I am moving back to Minnesota and working on an oak wilt suppresion program for Sherburne County. In September I am headed to an internship at a botanical garden in Thailand. I will be in Thailand for only one month, but I am very excited for the experience. After Thailand it is up in the air yet, my goal for the summer is to find a full time career to start at when I return.

I am looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience out in the real world.

Adam and Phil, I am going to miss the SSA, you will have to keep me posted and keep j-rod in line for me.

Why Thailand? I have wanted to try a studyabroad or internship abroad that had some correlation with Urban Forestry before I was done with school, or started a full time job. I searched online and the closest I could find was an internship at a botanical garden in Thailand. So basically just looking to experience the world before I get tied down.
 
I am very greatful for my parents letting move back home for the summer. I have been home for about a week now, and my parents are driving me crazy. /forum/images/graemlins/headpop.gif I didnt think it would be this hard adujusting from living on my own to moving back in with the parental units. Hopefully I can survive the summer.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.
 
been there done that, parents suck after you have stretched your wings....had to get back ut, my rules my pace....

love them but god can they bug you.
