I cant believe you are trying to sale that POS you bought off of ebay for $600 shipped to someone else now. It didnt run right for you and it still dont run right.
Plus you can buy new 395xp at dealers in the $900 plus range.

Shame on you for passing that POS onto someone else.

Wow you guys fukking with me a 20 year old saw for $600US? Who in their right mind would pay that ( I would never buy a second hand saw for commercial use but that's me ). It takes all kinds...........

No, swingdude - the 394 was begun 20 years ago. They still make them but are called 395 now. Yes, used saws can be a tough decision but so can these new models with AutoTune and no adjustments at the carb.

I just bought a 026 (modified of -coarse) for almost $300. I bet it is 15 yrs. old. Totally rebuilt and will run longer than me.

Unatool I love a 260 ( again just my likes ) and I would buy a modified one for three hundred US even a 15 yr old rebuilt ( 026 ). That sounds reasonable to me once I know I ain't getting a pig in a bag I cool wid dat. Just hearing dudes talking about Josh trying to resell a twenty year old ( ebay lemon presumably,I don't know the facts ) saw for $600 US seemed far fetched to me but I also know there is a sucker for all sales worldwide I see it everyday almost. Cars ,bikes and boats etc.

I don't really have any ideas besides clean it out real good. It will be interesting to find out if it is the auto tune. That will kill the mods doing for husky.Maui pick a saw and stick with it.

I have modded a couple autotunes just not a 576, the auto tune cannot pull the choke on and the auto tune just meters the fuel nothing more nothing less , if the choke is coming on then it is because of another problem , I would get the off/on switch fixed so you can tell if the saw is really running lean cause if you need to use the choke to kill the motor then you cannot get a proper sparkplug reading . Make sure the wire has not come undone out of the switch , then start checking to see why the choke is coming on, make sure the mounts are not moving so much when you put pressure on the saw it causes the choke to come on , also see if you can how hard you need to push the choke lever to make the choke come on , the new set up I have here takes a bit more pressure than you would think to put the choke in the on spot , just crap a hold of the choke arm and see how easy it moves, if it moves easy then there is a problem with it , either the return spring or the endent ball is not in the carb

these auto tunes are freaking lots of people out cause of the unknown but remember its just a carb and if its set wrong like its to lean it will run just like a carb set to lean , it cannot do magic things like lots of people think it can
