How to organize the Teufelberger treeMOTION light Harness

Good morning, All.

On other forum posts, I inquired about a more comfortable harness. Based on the feedback, I purchased the Teufelberger treeMOTION light Harness.

I will be transferring from a Petzl Sequoia.

As I look at the Teufelberger, other than purchasing Transporters, which can obviously be mounted into the slots provided, I'm curious how those who own this style of back webbing outfit their harness.

Below is my currently active Petzl, and a picture of the Teufelberger to which I would like to transfer. The Petzl has lots of sewn in loops for attaching gear. How do you accomplish this with this style?

If I'm missing something, please accept my apology.

Thank you for your help.

Kindly,

David

LOL, the solution to all of life's problems! For some reason I've never seen those before, might try them out myself.
That's my default response when anyone asks a question than starts with, "can I...."

With enough money, almost anything is possible.

I have series of vaults around the back. I try to keep positioning related things on my left and cutlery on the right. I hang an adjustable FS and a spare goodie or two on the left rear red rope loop and some sparabiners on the right rear red rope loop.

Cool thing about a TM is the ability to set up loops on the leg straps. Don’t be afraid to keep a few smaller things there.

I like the idea of keeping the cutlery on opposite side of the positioning gear. I feel silly for not having thought of that myself.

Hello again.

I think it would be cool for anyone interested to take a good photo of your harness, all rigged up the way you like it. Perhaps ask one of your colleagues to snap a pic when you suit up. Then share it here. It seems that there’s interest, and veterans are teaching and learning.

The gear options on the legs is one thing I do miss with moving away from the TM. I’d occasional use them for a petzl basic with a pulley carabiner for a 3:1, or nothing other than an accessory carabiner to drape the tail of my line through to keep my tail on the outside of my legs.
Now I have reverted to keeping the tail on the outside of my lanyard if I’m worried about gaffing it, and noticed how much this impedes self tending…. :crying:

Probably old news for you, I like to thread my tail thru a carabiner that’s on the outside of my spur to keep it clear and tends a bit easier. I always feel “off” when it’s draped across my lanyard
