How many people have used tree stake kits? Or do you want to try them?

What type of nursery stock are we talking bare root or b&b?
We will stake bare root stock but there is no need to stake a 32” b&b tree. IMO I have planted just shy of 300 trees on my properties mostly all b&b and didn’t stake any of them and none have leaned or tipped over. I would assume soil type has a major roll to play.

We only stake if it’s in the specs or necessary.

Personally I feel if the tree requires staking at planting the nursery has poor growing practices.

there are a lot of soil issues...that can necessitate staking: planting in sandy soil, sandy soil at the nursery, really wet soil at planting time, etc...
