Hey panthro, I finally made it over here!

Man...I beens lookin' for ya. Glad you found that right fork in the road. I wanted to tell you where some of us hung out but at AS they apparently get pretty wankered about mentioning other sites.

There is a LOT of good stuff here and at The Treehouse, Masterblaster's site. He isn't exactly welcome on AS but he definitely posts here and at the TH....tries to keep us young upstarts in our place. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm just waiting for your next great adventure.

Hey, have you seen He-Man? /forum/images/graemlins/aaa.gif

So, if you made it over here, where the deuce are you?

Re: Sizzzzz...you there?

here i am. its strange, i like this site better than AS but i'm not as comfortable posting yet, but i also dont feel like posting on AS as much anymore so my activity has gone way down. Anyway, I have been scouring my town for the perfect tree climbing tree for rec climbing and practice, and I think i might have found it. Its a big coastal redwood tree (probly 4-5 feet thick) in a public park, but is pretty hidden from site. Its got really meaty branches that make it look like a giant jungle gym. I got some time tommorow to climb it and I will take plenty of pics and measure it. I hope its as fun as it looks, but I will probably run into loads of coon sh!t! Its by far the best specimen of coastal redwood that I have seen growing in this area, so I'm totally pumped that I will have a chance to climb it.

by the way Alves, that video made my day, thanks for posting it!

I probably understand your discomfort about AS. I still watch the site and post some but feel like I have to be careful about what I say, that I may be "watched" for cross-posting (making reference to another site) and that may violate a rule.

Here at TB and at the TreeHouse I have always felt welcome and free to comment as I wanted to.

About that tree...I definitely want to see it. I am looking for a certain type tree, too. I am going to start a new thread about "playing with rope" and see where it takes us.
