Hitchclimber

Rich, I am currently obtaining a Ropeman so that I can give this system a try out, and will post pictures as soon as I get it. It sure looked like a smooth system when Beddes showed it to me, but then again most everything Beddes does is pretty smooth looking...

I saw him use that method at ETCC a few weeks ago and have been using it myself since. It works great as long as you know your hitch will definatly lock!

I can post pics if required. I had kept it quiet till after ITCC, so you could all get the "what the.....has he done there" effect!!

not that im aware of, you described that one new thing with the hith climber but i didnt see anything involving the ropeman....who was showing it off?

I would like to know why the HitchClimber comes with attachment holes so close together as to make each leg of the rope conflict with each other. ?? Yes, you can use the two outer holes, which then place the two legs of the climbing line farther apart, but my question is, why even create the closer attachment points?

Frans, thats kind of the issue I was talking about earlier in this thread. Using the two lower holes actually helps more than using the two outer holes, in that it cants the HC foward and creates more of a gap between the two legs of your rope.
