The Tree Guy is looking for a skilled, safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our veteran crew. We handle everything from high-end residential pruning to large-scale commercial removals and long-term care for landmark trees (including the 100-year-old cottonwoods at Zion’s Lodge).
We are looking for a true professional who understands that tree care is as much a science as it is a skill. If you take pride in "spikeless" climbing, precision rigging, and leaving a job site cleaner than you found it, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities
- Precision Climbing: Perform pruning and removals on large trees, often in tight residential or high-traffic commercial spaces.
- Technical Rigging: Utilize advanced rigging techniques and proper ASNI-standard cuts to ensure the safety of the crew and the property.
- Equipment Mastery: Safely operate aerial lifts (bucket trucks), chippers, stump grinders, and truck/trailer combos.
- Daily Maintenance: Take ownership of your gear. Ensure chainsaws, hand tools, and climbing kits are maintained and ready for daily use.
- Crew Leadership: Work seamlessly with our ground crew to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely.
- Customer Relations: Act as a professional face of the company, answering client questions and ensuring high satisfaction.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional climbing experience.
- Technical Skill: Must be proficient in climbing large trees without spikes (for pruning) and comfortable working at heights up to 120 feet.
- Species Knowledge: Ability to identify common local woody plant species to ensure proper pruning cycles.
- Physical Strength: Ability to consistently lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Driver’s License: Valid license required (CDL highly preferred).
- Certification: ISA Certified Arborist is a major plus, but not required for the right candidate.
