HH as a midline anchor

Has there been any talk about using the HH as an anchor for a double line system? Personally I would feel fine about using it for such work....But I'm asking along the competition guidelines. Per say I set a single line first to ascend, then just dropped a pulley off the bottom of the HH and used a double line system from there. Don't see how it would be any different than a secret weapon, as long as you spiked the line below it. I'm asking because I really don't want to change my ascent system for comps.

Seems like a acceptable use to me. Because of the design, even if the anchor line was tensioned from below for any reason the HH would still be stable. A stopper knot would safety it off. I would go with 10" to 18" of distance between HH and stopper . You may want a bit of slip in a severe dynamic load.
