help with splicing tenex

hey everyone

just so you know where I'm comming from, I know nothing about splicing.

With that said I want to learn to splice tenex for various purposes mostly eye n eyes and slings.

could someone please suggest a manual (video, book or both) and the essential tools.

Also, how do you all test the strength of your splices?

Samson Rope has some great information on splicing tenex. You have to be sure it is the right kind.

Oh Jeez, i just realized who the original poster is. I live right down the road, literally! If you want to see some stuff, let me know, I've got tons of tenex in 3/8 through 5/8 and some all gear tech cord im loving as an e2e and super easy to splice. I've got a spare samson splicing manual too if you want. Let me know!

Thanks for the offer! I would definately like to get together to go over some splicing. All my tools plus some 3/8" tenex should be here by monday.
