Help on lanyards

I have been climbing for a few years now and I have used lots of diffrent types of lanyars. I have the Distel tied up on a blue streak rope backed up with a micro pully right now and it seems to be working great. I switched out the 1/2in. blue streak for a thinner CMI rope, my problem now is that my friction hitch slides back into my micro pully and jams it all up. Any Ideas??? I cant find a smaller pully anywere, the smallest ive come across will take a 1/2in. rope. nothing smaller. You can kind of see what my set up is in the pic.

What is the rope you're using now for your lanyard? Do you know what cmi rope it is and what the diameter is?

its a 10mm rope close to the same as a Bee Line.

Try using a swivel dog leash snap as a slack tender. Put your rope through the eye of the snap and clip the gate to your biner or d-ring. Super cheap !!!

replace the pully with a ring, capture it between the d ring and your prusik knot run the rest of your lanyard through your side D, clip the tail to your saddle.

Hollenreich, that is a good idea. I may be a complete idoit but I cant completely wrap my mind around what that would look like. Do you have you lanyard set up that way, if so maybe you could post a pic?

hitch tied directly to the d?

you can do either, a delta link works good for this, tied to d ring, or spliced on. run rope through ring and d ring attach end to saddle, tie hitch beyond ring.
