Helicopter Lifts-1st hand experience anyone?

[ QUOTE ]
I have the perfect job for a helicopter but I dont think I could find anyone close enough to do it. Tree is in back yard with no access. All brownstone houses on all 4 streets. 1 street over is a vacant lot for a LZ. Problem I think would be the legistics of haveing a couple buildings empty for a couple hours...That is if the FAA would even allow it.

Anyone know a good company neaR NY

I'm pretty sure there are some companies out of NYC. A quick google search turned up this guy but who knows...

I looked at getting a heli for a few giant cottonwoods here. After a few talks with the heli company decided it wouldn't be cost effective. Guy said he wouldn't tie the chopper in to anything not completely severed from the ground. So wood and brush would have to be on the ground FIRST, then choked to chopper. Makes a lot of sense really.
Clearly they were not doing that in the german video, honestly that job looked scary as hell. I wonder if they knew what they were doing, cause it certainly didn't look like it.
