Have you seen the book "Meetings with remarkable trees" ?

When I was over for the ISA conference I used it as one of my tour guides. During my eight days I got to see about six of the trees. The beech hedge was very impressive!

I was impressed by a hedge row in Italy that was trimmed from hedge maple and hornbeam. Very green and dense looking.

Nice hedges ,are they boxwood hedges? used to work at a old world place where we sheared alot of boxwood hedges.thats really cool what they do with clippings.

This. Even with the special glasses it can be hard on sunny days. Just have to develop that carpenter's eye.

Yep and with all the leaves and stuff you're not going to get a solid line plus the Lazer is going to show actual perfect level and you must likely need more of a straight line that's likely to be slightly off.

I was thinking the ones with the receiver that you attach to a level is what he meant, definitely wouldn't be able to see the ones that just shoot out a beam and no receiver!
