Health Insurance for employees

Now of the people who offer insurance to their guys, does anyone cover their families as well? Is there any requirment that says if you offer insurance you have to cover the family and kids? Now a few said they offer it to just there head guy or climbers. How does that work? Do you just tell them no one else gets this or do you make it known that he is getting it because he is the climber or crew leader?

Lately I've been shopping around and I came to the verdict that I need to move to pa because the same plan is around $125 in pa what would cost me $670 in nj. I really dont get it because I can see pa over the river for my house, less then a mile but 5 times the price.

If we offer health insurance to one, we have to offer it to all, since we are a small corporation. Hence anyone who is full time and works for us for 60 days, we pay their insurance. It is a relativly high deductible, and we contribute some to an HSA besides. Each employee can add to that amount if they want. It is a high cost of doing business, but our guys are important to keeping us a quality business.
