have a laugh on me

Think he is hiring? Looks like it would be a good company to work for.

The sadest part is when the lady says people love the job that Joe does on their trees. The general public is unaware of best practices for tree care, and that topping is not one of them. An Arborist needs to be an educator, Joe is a removal expert. He might be removing the top now, and the rest later.

Has anyone called this guy? His number is there for the use and abuse, because guys like this are hard to convert to proper tschniques.

Really do tell, ooo King of topping.

Some of your jobs where much better rounded though I'll give you that.

Sorry something made me do it. Something about calling the kettle black.?????

hey, maybe its a takedown and they are not done the job yet... or maybe there was clearance issues... "clearance not appearance" I dunno, it is sick though, people pay money for that!!

There wasn't any clearance issues with these trees. My guess the real estate tycoon that owns this and 20 or so of these apartments hired the cheapest work and wanted "his moneys worth". Every tree was just hacked and the young pin oaks they way over raised some almost look more like palm trees than pin oaks. Anything within range of a pole saw was fair game for these guys!

OMG! I just left Sneedville Tennesee and about every third house that had any trees made hatracks out of then

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I asked why and was told that the power company did it. But the more I looked the more I saw that most of the tapped trees were nowhere's near lines.

About the only "good" thing about it, if there is such a thing, is that that it looked to be an annual or bi-annual thing so that the trees were actually being "maintained." And, none that I saw were located such that failure would pose a hazard.

I was just amazed at how many there were.

You know it makes me wonder, if so many people are willing to pay good money to make their trees shorter, could one make a killing from selling cambistat applications every 3 years? People usually have their trees retopped about every 3-5 years so why not?

On second thought, if people are really that scared of a maple, oak, or pecan, why not just cut it down and plant a dogwood?

I like the cuts back to laterals on the pecan, close enough to 1/3.

I was hoping someone would notice that. I'm sure those laterals will now assume dominance as the tree thrives.
