Has this ever happened to you?

Tarzan, some people don't get it.. what you did was very nice ..helping out someone...one thing I do when I get the gravel driveway is use an iron rake to mix up the micro stuff with gravel and then I always use a leaf blower at the end of the job and if possible I bring the customer out to view the job and I explain that I gaurantee my work and tell me now if you are not satisfied with something.
hope this helps you in some way..

Is that rate on site productive time and does it include travel and dumping trips? And would 60 be billed as 120/hour for a 2 person crew?
If so I'm in the same ballpark. Is this about the standard for North America? Cause I'm working steady and efficiently but not getting ahead.

Bo, I usually don't include travel time bc most of my work is very local. If it's not, I bill extra. Mid-day dump trips are billed as part of the job. And yes, it's a per man rate.

Thanks Tom, I'm working in a bubble up here. If I'm working for 60 it's for a friend. General target for 2 is 100. I guess I'm doing pretty good for a rural market. My speed has been increasing so it seems I'm working cheaper every year.
