ok, peace everyone, no offense taken. i have to say though..
if i were a man-hater, would i be so involved in an industry where i am 95% of the time the only woman at hand? i don't think so. that would be too much "hate" for anyone.
what i am is direct, and pretty much unapologetic for who i am. who i am is a woman who loves to climb trees, and who thinks it's just pretty lame that unless we wear pink or stick to traditionally female jobs women are invisible. i want more for us. so yeah, i want to change the world. hell yeah. anyone who is satisfied with the world as it is must not be looking around much.
at lunch today me and the 3 guys on my crew were talking about this thread and pink hardhats, and one of them said he wanted to wear a pink hardhat - we all laughed and i said i thought they should all 3 wear pink hardhats if they wanted to. i just hate pink and always have. just a personal thing. each to his/her own.
anyway, enough about pink freakin hardhats guys..let's talk trees!
