Wife and I are going for a hike on a local sea island. Going to specifically check out the gator pond for dinosaurs, both gators and hopefully wood storks. Then the local deer herd. I usually see up to 30 on a couple mile hike, and hope she will too.
Then it's steak fillets and pro motocross reruns.

My neighborhood is the same way, one of the benefits of living out in the country, gunfire is pretty common around here, and the weekend of the Fourth of July generally sounds like a re-creation of one of the battles of the war for independence.

I’m hosting a shindig at home in Orchard Park, holler if you’re in the area, we’ll be climbing a bit probably but mostly lifting and lowering the little guys with a belay device. Can revisit your old Zag-tether lol.
Short notice and you clearly have prior engagements, but still welcome, open invite, there’ll be plenty of food and drink including Chiavetta’s bbq chicken.
A lot of the small lake communities do some intense fireworks when the sun goes down, we used to go to Silver Lake and watch the show from a boat out on the water.

Rebuilt the Gas Grill. Cutting the grass. Grocery shopping and cooking out. Fairly an unholiday like day but that’s the norm for us. Don’t really have friends to socialize with. Lots of work people I’m friendly with but that’s about it. I’m well suited for a cabin in the woods if my 13 your old wouldn’t loose his mind. Happy day to you all.
Took most of the day doing the door. That's what I get trying to fit a square door in a crooked hole. Afternoon pop up t storms took care of the rest of the list. 92 degrees with 101 index at about 60% humidity. I reiterate...I hate the south!

Hope you have central air. Pretty much never leave windows open at night during summer because of humidity. Can’t stand humidity in the house.

I like on the corner across the street from a peaceful cemetery. Neighbors down the street shoot their 'works into the cemetery. Makes me wonder what the spirits have to say about the attacks

When I woke up this morning my slippers, inside my closet, were damp. It’s approx 147% humidity today. A swimming pool would be drier than my house right now.
Went on first walk down the road today since the accident. Pain is on its way down.. I’m starting to get a sense of where I’m heading and I’m feeling hopeful. Took a 2 hour nap this afternoon.
I’m just really confused as to why we have no ice cream in the house though.

Good to hear about the recovery brother. Humidity just sucks overall. I definitely think heads are gonna roll tonight if there isn’t any ice cream in the house

Welcome to Asheville! Your part of the country is certainly a humid area! I have family in that area, if it’s the Asheville I know of. Ashe County Cheese belongs to some cousins of mine, if you’ve ever heard of it.
Glad to hear you’re doing better and able to get out and walk! I walked to the mailbox yesterday, and I actually went to the next door neighbor’s a little while ago for a chicken leg and some watermelon for dinner.
A lack of ice cream is a serious problem! You should order some, I’m sure one of those delivery services can get some for you, probably a whole truckload if you want it!

I’ve never been there, but my grandmother used to bring some up once in a while and I remember it being good!

Thanks for the invite! We're near Geneseo on Conesus Lake. My first time here and loving it, except I'm meeting 60 cousins in one weekend. Staying until Wednesday.
