So, I've been using a great handyman calculator app. I asked the developer if he could take the log chart we use and build a calculator. He did. If you guys find it valuable like I do, consider buying the pro version which let's you quick access your favorite calcs, and just supports someone who made your job easier.

PS. I asked him if he would put an input for log length too. Hopefully that will come soon.

Evan, I downloaded it but I must be missing something. Is there a Log Weight function I am missing? Everything I try gives me about 1/2 of what my cheat sheet says. Example: My sheet references 12" dia x 1ft weighs 28lbs. I can't get that on the app. What am I missing or is my sheet have a safety factor I am unaware of.

Are you using the "Green log weight chart" calculator? maybe there is another weight a similar name? does it break it down by species? if it doesn't it's not the right one.

What species are you looking at? mine works, and the developer is integrating a field to enter in log length in feet that would multiply the weight/ft times the field.

I am using the Handyman Calculator, but I don't see any "Green log". My cheat sheet is actually called that and it does have species. The 28lbs was white Pine 12" dia x 1 ft long. Am I still missing something or did I grab the wrong app? Thanks.

LMAO, that is to funny. As it so happens, yes I do have a 10" tablet. It is the Samsung Galaxy 10".
