What's a better or good boot fir spurring. I've been using my nope Army boots for several tears, and u know they suck. I don't want to guess at a product. My feet hurt on long climbing days. Plus I'm just getting back into tree work after a few years off.

lol, wesco highliner here, best with gaffs for me.

I second the WESCO recommendation. I have a pair and have had them for quite some time and love them. I have a pair of nicks boots on order and will report on them as soon as they arrive. Something like 6mo wait. I wear whites boot every day to my day job they are great as well never climbed in gaffs with them. Be prepared for sticker shock all the aforementioned boots are super expensive but great quality.

WTF...proof read this shite dude...throw those fucking boots far...better yet burn them.....get some arbpros or salewas maybe even Meindls airstreams....damn so many choices...
Yeah, doing this at the bar was probably not the best option. Lol, I'm terrible about not proof reading, worse when having a few beers.

Ok den^^^^^^

I will get some flak but who gives a shit.. fuck wescos..heavy mofos....so many better modern options...this is 2016....not 1973...

But those knife and card pockets are so cool. :/
That's basically why I want a pair. They aren't high on the list though.

Lol,these 'light' options. Not err one is created equal. Some people can barely lift their own feet it appears.
You clock time in gaffs? Only boot that does it for me,8+hrs on my spikes, whatever.
I don't sweat it cause my shits beyond comfortable,they become a part of yourself. Idk it's whatever,maybe y'all like somthing a bit...lesser.
Have you scoped the disney lineup?

Man, lot of options. I used my Army winter weight , desert combat boots for 5 years. Lol, same ones I wore all through Baghdad, just so comfortable, but they're falling apart, and aren't good on the feet for spur work.

For me it depends on the amount of time I will spend in them. Trees that I am done with quick or don't stand on the spikes much for extended periods my salewa rapace work ok. If I'm standing on the spikes all day though it's hard to beat a more stout boot like air streams or wescos. I hate the weight of them both, they weigh about the same and can get tiring dragging them around all day but they do offer the best comfort for a tender foot like myself.

If I were going to spend spend of time in them I would just get the wescos and get it over with. Hikers are fine for pruning but for a lot of spur work there are better options imo.
