Good boots fir climbing with spurs

Lol,these 'light' options. Not err one is created equal. Some people can barely lift their own feet it appears.
You clock time in gaffs? Only boot that does it for me,8+hrs on my spikes, whatever.
I don't sweat it cause my shits beyond comfortable,they become a part of yourself. Idk it's whatever,maybe y'all like somthing a bit...lesser.
Have you scoped the disney lineup?

Looks like my niece's setup, except she likes lowtops.0917161334.webp

Easy peasy what's your budget? A lot of folks ( including me) can't afford a $300 pair of boots. You looking for comfortable, affordable, or both?

another vote for hoffmans.

12" leather vibram.
i too have been waiting for fucking ever for my nick's boots to show up and we'll see how they compare.

i prefer climbing in heavy leather loggers to your those hiking booties any day.

from nick's?

i ordered a custom boot.

i think it was based on the lineman.
12"
steel toe
toe caps
vibram
maybe sidepatch as well.

fact is i can hardly remember...

so i just sent out my hoffman 12" steel toe vibram's for a rebuild.

they were wearing down in the sole, i kicked threw the toe and they were stretched out pretty good.

they were also the most comfortable boot i've ever worn (after the break in) and climbed like maniacs both for prunes and obviously in spurs.

i also treated them like a spare pair of hammers and ran them all over the woods doing forestry work.

so i'll let you know how they come out after a rebuild.
logger boots over sneaker booties all day.

I didn't order the side patch I totally forgot. I have it on my wescos and I am not sure it saves the boot too much. I didn't got steel toe either.

so, both my leather 12" hoffmans and my fall/spring thinsulate pac boots are coming back from hoffman boots this week.

i sent them in about a week and a half ago and they'll be back on friday
that's pretty great turnaround especially considering the work i've had done.

i've had the back straps pulled to tighten up the uppers on both boots.

the 12" leathers were $180 to rebuild; new soles, new eyelets, backstraps pulled and leather toe caps put on.

the 14" thinsulte pacs had the bottoms replaced with a single shank steel toe and vibram soles as well as the back straps pulled and tightened up.
$145

my experience with hoffman has been top notch for the last few years, nicks on the other hand has really bummed me out.

i ordered in april/may and have been chasing them with pretty lousy responses since august.
i understand that it takes a while to move a factory and also to build a boot but damn..

guess we'll see how everything shakes out over the next few years.

i should have some great boots.
