Still achey but better to be home

I enjoyed the care of excellent staff while I was recovering. They made me laugh…which hurt, dammit, but worth every bit!

That’s great! The itching will probably last a while, at least it did when my appendix and I parted ways a few years ago.

After many surgeries I know the cycle. Lol. Itching is healing. A light fingertip touch eliminates the itch. I’m glad it’s not awkward to reach

Pretty good I guess

Deep breaths come easier every day. Less upset stomach. I think my organs are getting back to where they’re supposed to be

On Tuesday I meet w my surgeon

I’m limited to ten pounds lifting with my
Left arm. That means half bags of groceries even. To avoid temptation I just stay out of my workshop

They say that "Young Guys Bounce" (heal faster, etc.).
I say, remember the kind of steel that old car parts are made of - and remember it takes time to align atoms in drop forging but the parts are way stronger. Nothing like old parts . . . .
