GM 5.3 w6spd vs Dodge 5.7 w8spd both w Cylinder deactivation...which is most reliable in 1/2 ton?

Looking at new 1/2 ton 4x4 ext cabs...seems GM and Ram have had that power combo for a number of years even with cylinder shutdown...what do you guys think...which one is more reliable? Thanks
