Glyphosate Bans

We don't live in a vacuum, folks, and glyphosate is not used in small amounts or independent from other chemicals and procedures.

There are many, many things that have extremely low toxicity but are nonetheless, detrimental to the health of people and the planet.
Like people, the virus equivalent to the ecosystem that covid is to us
 
And that extends to introducing some very detrimental plant species that can decimate native fauna and flora.

so it’s a double edged sword. I don’t think introducing invasive species and leaving them alone is the best option either. Mechanical management alone isn’t often enough or possible when has its own impact on the land through disturbance.

I don’t know about you guys but seeing forest areas completely taken over by things like Kudzu or honeysuckle gives me anxiety.

Agreed, around here English ivy was promoted at the ultimate erosion control plant. Issue is it really isn’t, and you cannot get rit of it by hand digging on a unstable slope. Obviously herbicide is one of the options on the table. But issue is the slope is always by the sea
